What is JEE Main 2018 Cut off Marks?

The JEE Main cut off Marks will be declared by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on April 27 at the time of declaration of the result along with declaration of All India Rank.

 

The examination authority, CBSE will declare JEE Main 2018 cutoff separately for the Gen, OBC-NCL, SC and ST categories. In comparison to the 2017, JEE Main cutoff score for all the categories is expected to increase marginally. The cutoff scores for each category is different because it depends on various factors such as the total number of candidates appeared in JEE Main, difficulty level of the examination and the availability of seats in the participating institutes. Cutoff is the minimum score a candidate has to score in order to qualify JEE Main exam and get his/her name in the final rank list. Candidates securing equal or more than the JEE Main Cutoff is qualified for admission to B.Tech/B.E programmes in 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 20 IIITs and 18 GFTIs.

Furthermore, depending on the JEE Main scores, top 2,24,000 candidates will be shortlisted for appearing in JEE Advanced 2018 to be conducted on May 20, 2018 for admission to nearly 11, 000 seats in 23 IITs. Candidates can check JEE Main 2018 cutoff in this article once declared by CBSE.

JEE Main 2017 Cut off:

The JEE Main cut off 2017 as declared by CBSE is given below along with JEE Main 2016, JEE Main 2015, JEE Main 2014 and JEE Main 2013 cut off marks. Candidates can check the category wise cut off in order to know their chances of qualifying this entrance test and for becoming eligible for participating in counselling process for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes.
