How to Crack NEET with score above 600 in 100 days

Cracking NEET with 600 + marks is not easy. It requires intelligence, practice, time and many more factors. However, it is true that any smart student can crack NEET with 600 + marks if given sufficient time, practice and analysis after the practice. This article is based on the following questions asked by parents and students:

1. How to Crack NEET with score above 600?

2. How can get seat in government MBBS colleges?

3. How many marks are required to get admission in government medical college?

4. How many questions should I solve to get admission in government MBBS college?

5. How can a good student score more than 600 marks?

6. Is it possible to score more than 600 marks?

Here, we have described the various factors that will help you to crack NEET with 600 + marks

Why is it important to qualify NEET with marks above 600?

First of all you need to understand why a student should score above 600 marks in NEET. We know there are several government and private medical colleges in India that offer MBBS seat on the basis of NEET score. Annual expense in private medical colleges is too high to be affordable for a student of middle class family. Therefore, all students want to get a seat in government medical college. Due to high demand, admission in these premier government medical colleges is possible only if the candidate get a very good rank. To book a seat in these government medical colleges, NEET aspirant should target to score 600 or more marks in NEET 2018.

Is it possible to score above 600 marks in NEET 2018?

Scoring 600 in NEET require 150 correct answers out of 180 without any negative marking. This target of 600 marks is possible if you plan accordingly.

Make sure that your practice in the end stages fetches you close to 150 MCQs correct. To be on a safer side you may attempt 165 and get 5-10 MCQs wrong. You should also plan how much you should attempt and score in each subject based on your strengths and weaknesses.

Getting a correct answer for MCQ in Biology is much easier than in Physics or Chemistry provided you have thoroughly prepared NCERT and at least one other good Biology Book. Therefore, your first target should be Biology. For getting correct answer for MCQs in Physics and Chemistry you need to have lot of practice. If you want to obtain above 600 marks in NEET entrance test, you should first develop ability to solve minimum 150 correct MCQs in NEET.

Once you have understood what you need to score on NEET exam Day in order to get 600 Marks, let us explain how you can make it a reality.

Preparation Tips to Score 600+ Marks in NEET 2018 Exam

1. Which Books are required to be studied to score 600 marks?

You should not over burden yourself with multiple books. Instead, you should follow a very simple combination of books that we recommend.

The Best Combination of Books is N.C.E.R.T. along with some additional good quality book or study material like Moducation Course Material. Moducation study material will help you strengthen your basic concepts that will be very helpful in increasing number of correct answers in actual NEET paper.

If you are using some other good quality book for NEET, make sure you study it regularly and important concepts and formulae and save them under My Notes in NEET app by Moducation for quick and effective revision.

2. The Perfect Study Mantra to Achieve 600 Marks?

“It is better to study for 1 hour with full concentration than studying aimlessly for 3 hours”.

Studying with full attention and concentration saves a lot of time. This saved time can be used for recreational activities that will freshen up your mind and it will further boost your concentration. Many students feel satisfied after having studied for a long time. Now, imagine achieving the same knowledge and expertise with 1 hour of undivided attention. You have saved 2 hours. Now you can put 1 hour is relaxation or other leisure activities and other in further studies.

If you apply this method of studying effectively you will never be stressed out. The best way to implement it by studying in short optimised periods of 40 – 60 minutes each. Scientific research has proved that your attention level start falling after continuous study of 1 hour.

3. Time Management

Time Management plays very important role in every field of life including preparation of competitive exams like NEET. Time management is going to be more important for students who are going to regular schools too. You must remember these rules:

(a) Time is limited and cannot be created so never waste it.

(b) Each day wasted from now onwards will bring down your NEET score by 6 marks (100 days = 600 marks).

(c) If you really want a seat in government medical college you have to spend more time on execution than dreaming about a medical seat.

(d) Do not spend lot of time every day in making time table for the study. Make a fixed schedule about the timings in which you will be studying and stick to it for at least 20 days. Your daily schedule must be ready within 5 minutes in which you just have to plant what to study in which slot.

Most of the students fail to manage their time particularly in last 3 months and it is the reasons why many students are unable to finally achieve what they deserve. To become successful in NEET you will have to follow these 4 golden rules strictly. You can easily discipline yourself if you follow it for first 20 days.

4. Solve Previous Years NEET Papers

By solving the Previous Years Papers of NEET (AIPMT), you will understand the level of NEET questions, the pattern of NEET paper and the topics from each subject that have more weightage. Previous Years Papers of NEET also gives you a thorough practice to feel the pressure you might feel on NEET day. You will get to know your level of preparation with each NEET Full Test and then focus on the chapters where more effort is required. Solving 12 – 15 previous years NEET papers is suggested.

5. Solve Mock Practice Tests

You can have more exposure to NEET level questions by solving the NEET Mock Tests. Full syllabus Mock Tests also gives you projected rank in NEET 2018. You will learn time management during these mock papers. You will get to know your level of preparation compared to other students. Solving 15 to 20 mock practice tests is advisable but you should attempt as many as you can.

6. Minimize Silly Mistakes and Negative Marks

Minimizing Negative marks is very important in competitive exams like NEET, AIIMS and JIPMER. Negative marks because of silly mistakes can get you down from a big total. Therefore, you need good amount of practice so that you choose the right questions on the exam day and solve them and find only the correct answer.

7. Positive Mindset

Positive mindset is very important to achieve success in any competition including NEET. The way you think about the NEET exam has a big impact on your preparation. This is what your mindset should be:

1. I love all the subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and topics of NEET syllabus.

2. The syllabus is not too large to revise in remaining time because I have all important NEET concepts and formulae in my mobile Application.

3. The level of questions in NEET is difficult to crack ONLY in the beginning. After intensive practice and proper test analysis, it becomes easy.

Moducation Wishes you all the best for NEET 2018.
