NEET 2019 Registration Form, Registration Process, Exam Dates, Eligibility And Syllabus of NEET

National Eligibility Entrance Test, commonly called “NEET” is the national level examination conducted for admission for MBBS and BDS courses in medical and dental colleges in India. NEET 2019 will be conducted by the NTA (National testing Agency) on May 5, 2019 in offline mode and NEET 2019 Result can be checked online on June 5, 2019. Earlier in 2018, NEET was conducted by CBSE.

 

NEET 2019 Registration Notification

 

The notification for NEET 2019 online application forms has been released. Registration for NEET 2019 exam will start on November 1, 2018. The last date to submit the online application form is declared as November 30, 2018. Correction in application forms can be done from the month of December 2018. Successfully registered candidates can download their NEET Admit Card from April 15, 2019 onwards.

NEET Registration Process for 2019

Registration: Register on NTA NEET website in order to submit the application form. On registration, candidate will receive their ID and password on the registered email ID or Mobile Number for future reference ad use.

Filling the Application Form: Fill in the required details like personal details, Choice of Examination Centre, Academic Details and Address and Details of Parents.

Upload Documents: After filling the above-mentioned details, candidate will have to upload their passport sized Photograph, Signature, and Left Hand Thumb Impression.

Fee Payment: In the final step, candidate is required to pay application fee via Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, E-Wallets of different service providers etc.

Confirmation Page: After successful payment, a confirmation page will be generated. Candidates are advised to take a print out of the page and keep it safely for future use. Make note that the confirmation page is NOT to be sent to the board. Preserve it until the end of admission and counseling process. NEET 2019 Eligibility

 

Nationality: Indian nationals, OCI, PIO, NRI and foreign candidates will be eligible to apply.

Age Criterion: The minimum age limit will be 17 years as on 31st December 2019. The upper age limit will be 25 years for general and 30 years for SC, ST and OBC candidates on the date of examination.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent exam from any recognized board. In the qualifying exam, students must have physics, chemistry, biology/bio-technology and English subjects. Candidates should have obtained minimum 50% marks (for general), 45% marks (for general PH) and 40% marks for SC/ST & OBC candidates in the PCB stream.

Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.

There is no change in NEET 2019 syllabus as compared to NEET 2018 syllabus.

 

NEET 2019 Pattern

 

 

NEET 2019 will be conducted completely as Pen and Paper based test just like NEET 2018.

There is no change in NEET 2019 Pattern as compared to NEET 2018. The examination will have 180 single correct choice type MCQs (45 from physics, 45 from chemistry and 90 from biology). Each correctly answered question will have a reward of +4 marks while each incorrectly answered question will attract a penulty of -1 mark. There is no change in score for unanswered questions. Maximum marks in NEET 2019 will be 720.

 

NEET 2019 Cut Off

 

 

NEET 2019 qualifying score is expected to be 50 percentile score. In other words 50% of the candidates appearing in NEET 2019 are expected to qualify NEET 2019 exam. The expected cut off marks will be nearly 100.

 

NEET 2019 Admit Cards

 

NEET 2019 Admit cards can be downloaded from the official NTA website or NEET website from 15th April 2018.
